Seeing these Old Home Places in the back hills of Southern Missouri reminds me of when I went up there to Lead in Revival with Bro. Clifton Wheat in Plato, Missouri and we went riding down those Back Roads and saw a lot of those Old Home Places and Old Churches. As a matter of fact we stopped by and Old Church that had a Grave Yard in the Back and when we got inside there was an Old Piano and there was a Big whole in the Floor where the Pulpit stood and we had Service right there inside that Old Church, talking about a Sound, it just rang out and I know if anyone was with in a Country Mile of us they heard us. We also looked at the Dates on those Tombstones and a Lot of them or I should say most of them where from the early 1900s up until around 1940 or so. You could fill the Holy Spirit around you as you walked in and around that Old Church. I told Clifton we should have a Service back there Saturday to start the Weekend that would have been something out of this World. I have often wondered about the People that Founded that Old Church and had their Church Services there where were they Now. We had to stop and say a Prayer for those People wherever they were at that Time, it just touched our Hearts to see an Old Church that belonged to Gods People left untouched for so long. What epitaph that makes on Gods People. What would be the Words for it?
