Seeking advice from my learned friends. Ive recently co-created a fairly extensive piece of content with a colleague and its for a business audience. As it will be published online, Ive included loads of links - Wiki and similar. However, some of my younger colleagues - not too far out of their University days - suggested links like Wikipedia shouldnt be included in professional content - essentially the rules they had to follow at school. While I appreciate that for University essays this may be true, Im not sure whether it also applies for business content, especially as the power of the links is in the SEO. Any thoughts on this? Anyone know one way or the other?
