Seems like all we hear about these days is negative reviews from the middle east. Before we consider putting the middle east in an unbreakable bubble [which can fully sustain an insurrection from the people], are there any reasons why the rest of the world should care about the mid east? The Middle East is a melting pot of many cultures, Arabs, Turks, Persians, Jews, Kurds and Armenians, just to name a few, and it is also the birth place of most major religions, Christianity, Islam, Druze, Judaism. Beautiful Seas and coastlines , rivers, water falls, mountains with peaks as high as 19,000 feet, and vast deserts . Rich agriculture is abundant, fruits and vegetables of so many varieties, olive trees which contributes to the production of many types of olive oil, and of course wine, which there are several wineries, one of the famous one would be Ksara Winery. It is also rich in culture, history magnificent architecture and archaeological sites , with ancient ruins still standing, that tell stories from thousand years before. Philosophers and poets emerged from these lands also, Khalil Gibran, one of my favorite poets, says, and forget not that the earth delights to feel your bear feet and the winds long to play with your hair Spice, rich cuisine, culture, music, art and astrology is also very much present in the Middle East and the tastes and smells and sounds and sights of these delight the appetite and the eye. A beautiful part of the world indeed, and together, Muslims and Christians alike, we can overcome this difficult times we are facing, as our grand-grand parents did....may all of you have your heart filled with forgiveness, peace, and love..despite of your skin color or religion.
