Senator Patrick Colbeck: While the "branding" of non-profits is that they apply their surplus revenue only towards "the common good", in reality, their only constraints are that they reinvest their surplus revenue towards "self-preservation, expansion, or plans". When you look at the situation objectively, there is not much difference between how a non-profit applies their surplus revenue from that of a for-profit company.
