Send your messages ANONYME - What is wrong at the MTC??? Is it the management or the racing stipes or what??? How could they explain the decision taken by Patterson as Chief Stipe, uniquely on the word of a vet who everybody knows is very aggressive and unpleasant in character? Everybody agrees that Mr. Kiki is the best trainer the MTC has ever had - look at the way you treat him! Shame on you! All the turfists are asking why the MTC does not put order in the races instead of picking on a man who has only shown a great deal of courage and seriousness through his example in promoting racing in Mauritius. We understand that Mr. Kiki as a good trainer should try to understand why the horse Saziwayo lost a race that he should have won. He asked the opinion of the jockey who said that the horse was pulling very hard and that the horse had a problem. So Mr. Kiki wanting to be sure asked for the Chief Vet Dr Bourdet to come and examine the horse. The Dr was hard to find but afterwards the security finally brought him to the stable and told everyone to leave except the head groom and the groom of the horse. Mr. Kiki and Dr Bissesur left to go and have a drink with the members. What was the great surprise to find that afterwards Dr Bourdet said that Mr. Kiki had asked for a ‘coup de main’ on his report – implying and making a very serious accusation that he was being asked to arrange or falsify a report! What could be further from the truth? Quelle mensonge!!! Quelle méchanceté!!!Mr Kiki asked for a ‘coup de main’ for the Chief vet to come and look at his horse to be satisfied that there was no problem with the horse as per what the jockey stated. The Dr obviously in a bad state at being disturbed to come to the stable completely misinterpreted the entire situation and told a story that only he understands. What is really shocking is that the MTC accepted his story without listening to anybody else’s version and there goes Mr. Kiki – only trying to do his job as a professional being called before the stipes on the pure hearsay of an employee of the MTC. What a misjustice! A good stipe would have called both men together – had a frank explanation of what had really happened and the matter would have been finished. Why didn’t he do this??? That is the question!!!!! How can they explain why there were 3 different enquiries of one hour each saying the same thing over and over? Why? Why? Why? Is the MTC trying to lose the true race goers who love their racing??? Do they realize the mistake that they have made??? THE FANS OF L’ECURIE SERGE HENRY AWAIT THAT JUSTICE BE DONE!!!
