Senior Fellow John Goodman: Not only do we have the highest corporate tax rate in the whole world, we also do something most other nations don’t do. Ideally, each country should tax corporations based on their activities within that country’s borders. So Britain should tax companies based on what they do in Britain. France should tax whatever happens in France. But we tax our corporations on income they earn in countries all over the world!
