September 11, 2013: for this day, instead of holding a solemn sad guilt in never forgetting, I choose to value a noble memory of living the values we hold dear. That life is precious, unpredictable and short. That all people are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That many people STILL exist UNAFRAID to stand for what is right, to use their voice for good, to help a neighbor before checking their age, gender, religion, color, or race.. That the GOOD we put out to the universe defines us INFINETELY more than what a few might try to take from us. That for this one moment, we could forget the pain, the office politics, the striving, and really connect, one to the other, and try to sustain a caring partnership in business and in life. ~Dawn Christine Khan
