Written by Paul, it features Linda McCartney on backing vocals, Ringo Starr on drums and longtime Beatles producer George Martin on keyboards. The song appears on Pauls Tug Of War album. The lyrics, and the music video shown below, are a musical retelling of the Beatles early years. In addition to those mentioned above, the music video also features actor John Hurt. Take It Away peaked at #10 on the Hot 100 and spent sixteen weeks on the chart.
