September 27, 2013 (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) – On Saturday, September 28st, it’s “Pack the Stands Night” at Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tennessee. A television crew will be there shooting footage for a possible reality/documentary series and the track needs a full house to show the enthusiasm for dirt track racing in Middle Tennessee. Nashville producer Tim Weeks, a veteran of documentary and music programming, and director of photography Nate Shuppert, will be shooting for several days in the Hohenwald area. “Dirt track racing is a passionate amateur sport,” said Weeks. “For the drivers, the speed is addictive and there’s a lot of pride on the line every weekend; we’re impressed with the character of the drivers who race at Tennessee National Raceway and the commitment of Bill Hibbits and his family to build on the tradition of racing here in Hohenwald.” “We’re excited about this weekend and we want to see everyone come out to be a part of this pilot filming for television,” said CEO Bill Hibbits. “We’re proud to be part of the Hohenwald community and we think Tim and his crew are on to some great stories.” “You never know where this kind of thing goes, but it’s just another example of how much we believe in the success of Tennessee National Raceway,” he added.
