September 5, 2014 At 1:00 PM today, 14,464,080 minutes will have passed since you became my loving wife. There has been not one minute from millions that would ever change if it meant being with you. God has blessed us beyond measure. There have been easy times as well as hard times. There have been times of plenty along with times of want. There have been times when we wondered where the Lord was leading in our lives and times when His direction was so clear that would could never doubt. But beyond the circumstances of our lives, the Lord has blessed us with unending love that grows by the minute. I am thankful that we still hold hands and that you lean on me as we sit together. I am thankful that we have never stopped say, I love you even when I am just a few feet away in my study. How did this all happen? Not because of our wisdom or knowledge but in spite of it. Not because we were smart enough to figure it all out, because we still have not figured it out on our own. It happened because of the amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who took our promise of commitment to each other, and enabled us to fulfill that promise, first to Him and then to each other. I love you 14,464,080 times more than I did 55 years ago. You are the greatest blessing apart from my salvation by grace that I could ever had. Thank you for being the ideal servant of God, wife, mother and friend to many that I have ever witnessed. Above all thank you for your commitment till death parts us until eternity is a fulfilled reality.
