September @ Gethsemane Day 3 - Psalm 100:3 “Know ye that the Lord He is God,...” Own and acknowledge Him to be God, as well as man; and though a man, yet not a mere man, but the great God and our Saviour, the true God and eternal life. Know that He is Jehovah; or our God and as promised He is Immanuel, God with us, and God in our nature, God manifest in the flesh. “It is He that hath made us……and we are His;” It is in Christ (without whom nothing is made that was made) that we are made. It is in him we live, move, and have our being; and, as new creatures, we are His workmanship, created in Him, and by Him; regenerated by His Spirit and grace, and formed for Himself, His service and glory; and made great and honourable by Him, raised from a low to a high domain; from being beggars to being princes. We did not make ourselves as we have no hand in making either our souls or bodies, so neither in our regeneration, or in the work of God upon our hearts; that is solely the Lords work. For if the Lord has made us, and not we ourselves, then we are not our own, but His, and ought to serve and glorify him: we are His by creation; we are also his offspring Acts 17:28, We are His people; by choice and covenant; by the Fathers gift, and Christ’s own purchase; and by the power of His grace, bringing us to a voluntary surrender and subjection to Him; even the Gentiles (including you and I) who were not His people, but now His people (1 Peter 2:9) and the sheep of His pasture; His sheep also by gift and purchase, called by Him, made to know His voice, and follow Him. Sheep for whom He provides pasture, leading us to it, and feeding us with it Himself. Amen Compiled By the National Bible Study Coordinator – Mr. Percy Agordoh Prayer: 1) Thank God for the life of Christ in us. 2) Declare (throughout the day) that “It is in Him we live, move, and have our being – Acts 17:28” therefore sicknesses, poverty, failure, mediocrity and all negatives have no place in us. 3) Thank God for the salvation grace which we enjoy in Christ Jesus. 4) Thank God for the provision of His pasture (physical – food & material needs, spiritual – the Word) we enjoy and will enjoy (in future) NB. We apologise for the late delivery and assure you that this will always come at dawn, henceforth. Thank you and shalom.
