September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and all - TopicsExpress

September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and all this month Farrell’s is celebrating by selling a very special, limited run, sundae with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. What’s so very special about this sundae? Well, for one, it was completely created by 4 of the most awesome kids we know, Jazzy, Caitlin, Kayla and Tyler. We thought wed do some posts so you can get to know each of our special sundae creators. In July of 2010, Jasmine “Jazzy” was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) at only 3 ½ years old. Jazzy lived in the hospital for the first two weeks, had to have a pic line and port placed, had several lumbar punctures, and learned to swallow pills. Yet, through it all, she was a happy, outgoing, sweet kid who never cried or screamed. After two years and two months of extensive treatment, she took her last chemo pill in September of 2012, right before her very first Light the Night Walk in Anaheim. Now 7, Jazzy is in 1st grade and enjoys ballet, girl scouts, and swimming. She continues to support LLS, and even asked her friends to bring a donation for LLS in lieu of toys and other gifts to her 7th birthday party. She is a super sweet kid who loves reading and spending time with her Mom, Dad, and little brother Parker. For more info on the amazing Sundae Is Today #JazzyCircus visit farrellsusa/lls/
