September is almost here and it will be all about how much money we can raise for the PHACES Foundation of Canada! A local Cambridge Family, started the PHACES Foundation of Canada. Their daughter Brooklyn, now 4, was diagnosed with PHACES at just 10 weeks old. Brooklyn’s case involves a benign tumor wrapped around the back of her right eye that required five months of chemotherapy. Due to many malformed and missing arteries, and a central brain issue causing high blood pressure, she’s already suffered a series of strokes. There is no known cause for PHACES and her mother, Shannon McAllister Audette believes research will be her strongest weapon of defense. Please join me in fundraising for PHACES!
