Serious note something that happened at school today. Went to class as usual, on zero sleep but I had a pretty good day. So this morning in my Speech class we were talking about our final project which is a song and a monologue called a passion peace. My song was a song I have written myself for the band called BLEED THE SOUL. We have to do it acapella with any particular sound pattern we can think of. Anyways with a little struggle, my teacher stopped me and read it out loud to the class to help me find the proper pace and sound. Not only did she read it perfectly but she said it was beautiful. I dont know why, but it tore me apart inside to hear someone else read my song and then tell me it was beautiful. I seriously had the jitters and the shakes for the rest of the day. This song was inspired by a number of tragic events in the last year or so, but this song is really about PTSD. I know for a fact when Im on no sleep Im easily emotionally vulnerable. I dare not share the lyrics here publicly, but if I read the lyrics to anybody that suffered trauma, especially recently, I would dare say it might relate. What are your thoughts my friends? If youre curious what the content might be let me know
