Sermon: Fear not Scriptures: Psalms.23 [NKJV] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. ………………………………………………………………………. Good morning children of God! Mangwanani vana vaMwari! Hareruya vanhu vaMwari! The devil uses his tricks to divert your attention and focus from God. You were meant to praise the Lord but the devil does not want that to happen. The Psalms are saying that the Lord is my Shepherd and I shall not lack. Therefore you do not have to worry about your daily needs because the Lord is your Shepherd and you shall not want. Praise is the only thing you need to do always because everything else is catered for by your Shepherd. You do not need to worry about anything else. All problems shoved by the devil unto your life have no power because the Lord your Shepherd will not tolerate that to happen in your life. You are covered in all sectors of your life. You must fear no more because the Lord your Shepherd is with you always. As you walk through the valley of the shadow of death you shall fear no more. Also take note that it is just a shadow of the real death because no one else can bring death upon you, therefore you do not need to fear just a shadow, an imitation of the real death. Am I talking to somebody here? Ndirikutaura nemumwe munhu here pano? You do not have to fear because of the one in your company, the good Shepherd. He is the King of kings, the Master of masters and the Ruler of rulers. As you walk through the valley of a mere shadow, your life must move on to a defined destiny. The valley is not moving and it is only a shadow or an image anyway. Focus on your destiny and everything else will come to pass. You may be poor today but you have the right to claim your riches from our rich father, the owner of wealth in heaven and on earth. It could be marriage, wait with faith and hope and you will receive it. Do not worry that your marriage or prosperity is delayed, it is synonymous with a chameleon’s slow moves that are filled with calculated and precise accuracy. The slow moves of a chameleon are not a mistake but for a positive purpose. The same applies to your delayed testimony, it is waiting for an appropriate time, which is God’s time. Rejoice because your testimony is not denied but delayed. Are you here? Uripanapa here iwewe? You are fully covered and your life must tell the world who your Shepherd is. Your life must resemble the kind of Shepherd in your life, it must not be questionable. You do not have to fear anymore. Your sleep must be like that of a baby, a sound and restful sleep because you are protected by a good Shepherd. No testimony without a test. You need to maintain your endurance through faith and your testimony comes through. The Lord and good Shepherd does not forsake His flock. Never! Our Father is our provider, Abbah, our source, therefore you must fear no more. Our Lord in Isaiah.41:10 says, “Fear not, for I am with you…” Start to celebrate that all is well with you and family. You are under His covering. Praise Him in order to bring Him onto the scene of your situation. He knows what your demands are, but it only takes your faith to tap into that anointing, grace and favour. Shout, “I fear not! I am protected by Jehovah Nissi – my shield, my banner and my protection! He is Jehovah Jirreh – the provider of all my needs! I worry not anymore – He is always with me, Jehovah Shammah the omnipresent God! My soul is restored! My cup runs over! I am covered! My life will not remain the same as I receive my favour this December of favour! Yadah! Abbah! Father!” Glory be to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.
