Set up a new warp on the loom last week end and finally got to starting some weaving this week end! Ive put in some photos of the set up process....fighting, people call it sorting ;0), the hundreds of threads is the reason why it takes so long....each thread has to be individually put through the loom on to the back roller and then through the heddles...like threading a needle each time!, and then fastened on to the front roller. With my new loom, ;0)......I can then programme the pattern in with the little black pegs and then you are off....well hopefully! After my week in Scotland I have gone with autumn colours and a bit of a plaid affair....heres hoping I get something useful.
