Seven days of soaking showers; suddenly saturated sodden sections swamping the lawn; Kikuyu reaching garden walls a year ahead of schedule; trees recording interesting annual rings for posterity; the pool set permanently on Overflow and the grass so enthusiastic that we can watch it grow. As inconvenient as this was for some we really needed this to raise the water table and set us up for what promises to be a bitterly cold winter. Have a cool day.
