Several days ago, I posted some data from an op ed piece in the NYTimes about how many women are inadvertently harmed by mammography even though some are helped. In the ensuing thread, some of of you mentioned that you learned of your breast cancer in a dream. Turns out there is some very reliable data on women dreaming that they had breast cancer. And then getting the right treatment. My colleague radiologist Dr. Larry Burke is doing a study of women whose breast cancer was diagnosed in a dream. This study will help validate the role of intuition, dreams, and non-rational knowing as important aspects of healing.
