Several months ago, after I started a regular practice of deep meditation, something strange began to happen to me: dead people started telling me their life stories (at least that’s what it feels like.) Words and images pop into my head, unbidden, sometimes with alarming clarity and they don’t let go until I write them down. After I’d filled half a notebook like this, I thought they made sense on a blog. Regardless of whether I’m channeling Il Mondo Beyondo or if these stories are coming from some deep, heretofore untapped creative recess of my psyche, (and who knows? Perhaps they are one and the same!) they are interesting and poignant tales, dictated by souls who have already “been there, done that” and now often have wisdom to impart. There are a lot of different narrators from a many walks of life, each with a different perspective, a different issue, a different lesson. Reading them regularly encourages you to think about lifes important questions: When my life is over, what will I remember? Cherish? Regret? If I had to distill the story of my existence into a few paragraphs, how would I define my life? (or how would I LIKE to define it?) What/who was meaningful? What was the purpose of my life? What is my main path? My trajectory? What can I learn from each experience? Please have a look, and if you think they might be useful, do sign up to get them by email. (I’ve scheduled the blog to post every three days to give subscribers a chance to chew on each narrative for a while.) And/or feel free to pass them on to others (Some stories will probably really resonate; others, not so much.) Hope you find them useful, enlightening, meaningful and/or at least entertaining. Good luck with your quest for further enlightenment. It is a noble quest, indeed! Adrienne thelivesofthedead.wordpress/
