Several people are having issues with missing customs paperwork when they pick up their vehicles or are having difficulty registering their vehicles in a state that requires original customs paperwork. Texas is one such state. If you do not receive your customs clearance paperwork at pickup - and you likely wont- contact the customs brokers who completed your paperwork and ask for a copy to be emailed to you. Better yet, be proactive and try to get it BEFORE your car even arrives. Take those copies to a nearby Customs office (they are usually near airports as well) and they can assist you in creating the originals or stamping your copies. Use this link to find a port near you.
