Several years ago, GM shuttered its plant here in No DE. GM sold the plant to the electric car company, FISKER. Millions in Delaware taxes was pumped into the venture as well as millions of Federal tax dollars to help re-fit it for electric car production. Since then FISKER declared bankruptcy (no surprise here). So China purchased the rights to build FISKER and got final approval to buy the plant here in Delaware Now GM announces that they along with their Chinese partners will invest $12 billion, by 2017 opening three factories there (in China) this year and two more next year. Is it just me or does something smell fishy?
