Shaded in hues, painted in shades, Truth comes varied, through different verbal trades. Akin to any liquor fermented deep and aged years long, Does reality come across, for us to throng. Tis an addiction like crack, one hard to let go, A logical one seldom does emotions flow. Its a stupor ambient, like cannabis smoke, In pungent ways does the embers hurtful it stoke. Love provides a salve smooth and soothing, But like a coke junkie, Ill never find it any calming. A life with harsh truths will I always hanker, Than dwell in a misty, dreamy candyfloss bunker.
