Shahdi was always a very kind and helpful person. From trying to help Arman by carrying (more like dragging!) his backpack at the age of two, to helping out her friends, lending her shoes to her grandmother at age 9 and walking home barefoot herself from school because her grandmothers shoes were uncomfortable, helping me out with light cleaning or dusting when we had parties, volunteering to sleep in her Pocahontas sleeping bag on the floor whenever there was a shortage of beds on trips, covering us with blankets if she saw us in an impromptu nap on the sofa, making me tea if I had a cold, etc. She truly enjoyed giving love, attention and support to people, even to strangers. She was one of those individuals who didnt mind going out of her way to help others. We definitely need more people like Shahdi on this planet. She is indeed irreplaceable and one of a kind and is so missed...
