Shall we pray Father in the mighty name of our saviour Jesus, this morning we are full of joy as we reflect on the goodness of Calvary. Surely, the Cross made all the difference. Am the sum total of all the difference brought by Calvary. Everything that was then, every filth that had been rubber stamped on me, every name that was used to identify me then, was nullified at Calvary. Now i have a new name and a whole new identity. Surely, the cross made all the difference. Thank You so much my precious Father for John 3:16. It is this love that we are celebrating this morning. It is this love that has given us direction and a future. It is this love that has streamlined our focus. That now, we cannot walk aimlessly. That now, we cannot grope in the dark. We can no longer grope in the darkness of our attitudes, we can no longer grope in the darkness of our feelings and experiences, we can no longer rely on our folly but Christ in us is our hope of glory. Thank You Lord for this unmerited favour. A favour so humongous, so overwhelming only You can help us fathom it. Heavenly Father, as we start the day, help us walk in the beauty of this favour. Help us acknowledge the treasure resident in this favour. And as we do this, my prayer is that our faith shall continue to grow. That this favour, this WORD, shall propel our spiritual walk which is by faith. Indeed Father i appreciate the fact that Your name is Faithful and True. Therefore, this walk of faith is nothing but a tapping from You. May our eyes be fully opened so we may see the correlation between our walk of faith and Your Character. Thank You Lord. This morning we pray for the less fortunate among us: the orphans, the widows, the street families and the poor. Lord, we are calling on Your very being as Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider. May You make a way of provision for these people. May You put a smile on their faces. May You raise men and women who are driven by Your compassion to be channels of Your Blessings to these families. Allow us dear Lord, in our various capacities to be true stewards of Your Blessings. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
