Shalom Shalom! Yahveh’s Plan for Eternity The foundation had been layed and the instructions been given for each one of us to obey. Disobedience is the cause that you will be cast out. The Old Testament is a chronicle of Israels repeated failure to obey Yahveh and its refusal to keep His commandments and statutes. In Psalm 78:10-11, 40-42, 56-57, the Scripture mentions that Ephraim (meaning Israel at large) did not keep the covenant of Yahveh ; they refused to walk in His law or teaching, and forgot His works and His wonders that He had shown them. This obedience caused that they were casted out into different directions because they followed other gods and orders. How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, and grieved Him in the desert! Again and again they tempted Yahveh, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember His power and Yet they continued testing and provoked the Most High. After the unfaithfully fathers been casted out their children been taught to follow their traditions. This is why they end up in exile in other countries because they did not keep His testimonies, but continued serving other gods. Yahveh ordered to keep His commandments to enable us to have a good life and a hopeful future with blessings. He commanded us to keep His Sabbaths and His Feast (Troughout) their generations. Behold, the eyes of Yahveh are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth (Amos 9:8). The patriarchs were, as Yahveh attests again and again, faithful. However, the people of Israel failed to observe the terms of Yahvehs conditional promises to them. Israel exhibited again and again its refusal to obey Yahveh. As a result, it has yet to enter into the peace, prosperity, and eternal possession of the land He promised the patriarchs. Hebrews 3:8-11 summarizes the matter: In the day of trial in the wilderness, [the children of Israel] . . . tested Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation. . . . So I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest. Because of the peoples recalcitrance, Yahveh withheld His blessings, ultimately separating Himself from them by casting them out of the land He had promised. Yahveh punished Israel for its disobedience by deferring the fulfillment of His promises. This deferment did not make Him unfaithful to the people, because His promises to them were conditional, based on their obedience to His revelation. To turn back means to also obeying His commandments. Clean out and dust out leaving all ungodliness behind and submit to His orders that will bless you with eternal life. This is the time of cleaning and dusting out. Praying for forgiveness and return like the prodical son and daughter. There will be awaiting the greatest Feast of Tabernacles. A Feast of Joy! The Feasts fall into the category of spiritual law, just as the Ten Commandments (which also are judicial). They reveal the spiritual attributes of Yahveh and they transform us spiritually to be more like Yeshua HaMashiach when we observe them. Yahveh made it crystal clear that this was not a one-time ordeal. Nor was it just for Israel at that time. Yahveh thundered, And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and you shall keep it a feast to Yahveh throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever (Exodus 12:14). Be blessed and stay blessed
