Shamanism is an interesting journey. You get the visions of what you are going to be doing and you set about your tasks. You meet people, you help build skills and help people improve their lives and living conditions and then you get the signs that you are done with that phase. The last two years has been full of interesting events and projects. We have touched the lives of over 200 people and swam at least that many miles as we got more information to be used and shared later. Weve watched people grow in their skills and we have seen great healings and sadly we have seen what happens when people have the chance to make the changes they say they want yet choose to continue their same path. One of the saddest things is to get the phone call or visit from people who now know their gateway had just closed, wanting to know how they can catch up. Time. What an interesting phenomenon. People think they have so much of it, for everything. Twenty years ago, during a similar phase, people were so willing to totally get into Shamanism and do whatever it took to be proficient in their skills. We had great groups, classes and the healing aspect of the group activities was breaking all the normal perceptions. People being healed from last phase terminal illness was becoming a regular event. Environmental groups in group meditations were being shown the locations of nuclear and toxic waste dump sites and people were brought to justice on the physical plane from those visions. Everything was possible because we had people who were willing to do the work needed to be proficient in the skills needed. The vortex stayed open for a long time from the energy of those people and the Southeast side of Florida was a great place for people to come to seek knowledge and actually live the experience that knowledge had to offer. The people had power and they used it right. In doing so they had to leave to other parts of the country and the world to share and work the knowledge and skills acquired. Without the energy of the people the vortex closed and things went back to normal. I left the South Florida area and traveled for years helping to build spiritual retreats, metaphysical centers and so on, often meeting and working with people I trained years earlier who were now teachers. I worked in six states and two countries during that time and saw some of the most amazing things that defied the laws of physics and perceived reality. Something has happened with people since then. We dont see the willingness to do the work. People want empty shortcuts and certifications in level one so they can go be teachers. In an effort to understand what was happening the international Shamanic community did an experiment. We set up different groups and offered a variety of topics and activities. The one that had an overwhelming attendance and interest was the Ayahuasca journeys followed closely by anything to do with magikal mushrooms followed by whatever else similar. We have interviewed so many people and with all the alleged insight that was received during these journeys there is so tangible evidence of change in these peoples lives other than the increased number of journeys attended! What happened? Did people become so overwhelmed with hopelessness that they feared the real work? Are they seeking the escape television and movies no longer provide? Will the events coming in the near future send the people into a state of trauma that big pharma has been waiting for? We would like to thank everyone who participated in our exercise.
