Shared Dreams The oft heard concept of “Shared Dreams” has caused me trials and confusion in the past; as such I generally hold close my sacred dreams of what I want to be. The vision of the future ‘me’ is always difficult to capture. Those times where I have shared glimpses have usually met with disbelief or even derision from others. I have a very precious dream that I have been developing for the last 30 years or so. It has become a treasure and I am slowly working towards realization. It is a vision of what my “Post Employment” years will be like and where I will “live”. It is by no means conventional. This dream I will not subject to ridicule or the biases of those who have no vision of what it means to me. But the dream has been incomplete. There are aspects that have HUGE holes that I have not seen a way to reconcile. ---- Change. Those who know me understand that I enjoy change and welcome when old mental walls burst forth to make way for enlightened portals. Several walls have been allowing more light, of late. ---- My definition of “Shared Dreams” has changed. It is not the vocalizing of what “I” am going to do anymore. It is the knowledge that “I” can’t realize that dream unless I am a part of something greater. The HUGE holes have needed an empathetic partner. She is required in order for the vision to have any chance of becoming a reality. In fact, the entire purpose of the plan is to provide the environment for such bonds to flourish. Not including that gracious spirit in the plans and execution would mean its failure. Shared a slight glimpse of the as yet incomplete concept and immediately felt several voids filled in. Life is an adventure and now I know what it means to Share a Dream. It is not the telling of a dream, which shares it. It is allowing another spirit to embrace its heart and take aspects as her own. The dream is much more complete in the process. Good Feeling Change & Enlightenment. Awen!
