Shared this before...for all the US Moms on this list, it is a must see. As a Brit living in the US and raising 2 kids, I knew some of this - my kids are proof that the Food Industry is causing american kids damage. Both children have extreme nut allergies and allergies to other foods that my husband and I do not demonstrate. I keep my food supply as clean as possible given our budget. I buy organic meat, vegetables and milk and as many other products as I can. Since 1996 GMOs and other novel proteins have been introduced into the US food supply, when those self-same companies (examples Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola) do NOT include GMOs and novel proteins in their food products to other countries. So the Food Industry values US Moms less than they do their profits, its a simple equation. Feel free to be offended. I certainly am. Do anything you can to learn more and raise awareness...and where you can, vote with your wallet. Do your kids have allergies, constant low grade illnesses and allergic reactions? Make a concerted effort to change what you feed them. If you see a difference then you will be convinced.
