The Bolozi Wazee Council of Elders regrets announcing to the community that after 19 years of hosting the largest and the only seven day Kwanzaa Observance Celebration in this country, Malcolm X College has informed us that “they can no longer cosponsor Kwanzaa.” Without this partnership, and because of time and financial restraints, the Elders are not in a position to absorb the total responsibility of promoting and sponsoring this event for this year.
