Sharing for George Hookway From, In memory of Lydia page The Allingtons show their dogs and Mr Allington is or was KC judge. The Allingtons had gone off in there motorhome to a dog show they left on the Wednesday and did not return home till the Tues . There Granddaughter was looking after the dogs we dont know if she was staying at the house or just going in each day to tend to the dogs . The Girl phoned Mandy and asked for help as she was having problems caring for the dogs Mandy went to the house on the Saturday morning .She says what she saw was horrific the dogs were in cages with no bedding and all laying in there own dirt the number of dogs is still to be confirmed but I think there were a lot . Lydia was in a mess and the granddaughter wanted Mandy to clip her off Mandy said that Lydia should go to the Vet the granddaughter Phoned Mr Allington and told him his reply which Mandy heard as the phone was on speaker phone was no way was anybody to take her to the Vet she should give her a couple of paracetamol and put her back in the cage . Mandy says when she picked Lydia out of the cage urine was running off her and maggots were crawling out of the wounds and from her feet Mandy did what she could to make the dog as comfy as she could and was there till late at night sorting the dogs out . The nexed morning she rang and reported them to RSPCA The Allingtons did not go home till the Tuesday bearing in mind they had at least one sick dog at home the RSPCA went on the Wednesday they were refused entry so they called the police so they could get into the house . I believe Mr Allingtons Excuse was he did not know what was going on as he never went into the kitchen this is a tiny house and the kitchen door is right by the front door and in any case the stench must have been unbearable, the out come was dogs removed some in such a bad way they had, like Lydia to be destroyed others were taken to rehoming centres. Mr Allington signed the dogs over to the RSPCA and it is said, made a very large donation to them too . The outcome is the RSPCA have closed the case with no prosecution do any of you think this is fair and just because I do not .
