Shayne youre doing an awesome job with these fixtures mate!!! TO ALL PLAYERS!! PLEASE make sure both players are texting their game results to Shayne after each match. We would like to ask ALL PLAYERS please try not to get yourself too far behind with your fixtures. I know its not easy with work and nice weather Im behind a week myself. But if you get too far behind now it will make the end of your season a headache which is the opposite of what Shayne and myself are aiming for. If you are behind and you think you can fit in more than one fixture per week for a few weeks we really do encourage this. There has been some results in that I would not have predicted which shows that the quality of pool is getting higher and higher in lowestoft all the time. We hope that this competition helps progress individual performances throughout all teams!! So a little insight. The last week of games is the Wc 22nd November. As Shayne announced yesterday on Saturday the 29th November we are holding the last chance saloon at the Norman Warrior Pub. This is where everyone who finishes in positions 3-4 in their leagues will get one more chance to progress to next seasons external leagues. 18 competitors will be invited, battling it out for the final 6 places. The following weekend will be the finals events. 24 people split over 4 venues (6 per venue) with the draw to be done at the end of last chance saloon. 2 venues will be played on Saturday the 6th December. The other 2 will be played on Sunday the 7th December. All 6 players will play each other to determine their rank out of the group of 6. The top 2 will be entered into the first ever lowestoft singles Premier League. Positions 3&4 will be entered into the Division 1. The bottom 2 from all 4 venues will be entered into Division 2 of the Lowestoft Singles Leagues. As you may be aware we have a presentation evening at the Red Herring, this has been arranged for Sunday the 14th of December from 7.30pm. This will be where ALL winners of their leagues will be given their cash prizes given by their sponsors where possible. Also a big thank you again to all the sponsors this year and especially to Gary Pinion and Gavin Albertino Welton who have donated prizes to be given Away. 1x peradon 1 piece pool cue and also 1x aluminium peradon 1 piece cue case. Anyone who has entered the lowestoft singles league gets 1 ticket for themselves placed into tombola for a random draw to win these really decent prizes. Also anyone who comes to the last chance saloon to spectate and also any of the 4 finals venues will be given another entry into the draw to increase their chances of winning. I dont mean pop your head in, wink then leave. I mean come and have a drink and see your friends take on players from other leagues! Each venue that you attend gives you another entry in the draw!
