She said she locked the two boys in a bedroom because they were caught stealing food, according to the complaint. Stealing food? How can a child steal food? In this house there is no way my children can STEAL food. Cabinets, fridge are free for all. I dont believe children should ask permission for food other than junk food because I limit that. My kids can eat as many apples, oranges, carrots and other healthy stuff they want throughout the day. If I ever caught my children STEALING food I would question if I am failing to provide them with all they need. When you let children make their own decisions they tend to be pretty good. My kids dont eat non stop they come out and grab something usually right around snack time and guess what? That apple usually makes them not want junk.......UGH this makes me so pissed.
