She was the queen of cross stitch and huge turkey suppers. She - TopicsExpress

She was the queen of cross stitch and huge turkey suppers. She could sneak a tater tot off your plate without you knowing. Mother to three children...and one Baby Kitty. Grandma to nine grandkids and over ten great grands. She could pull a bandaid off in one swift swoop when I was crying, then humor me and try to put my mitten on because I swore to her they were magic and would stretch. She was a mall walker, and sometimes walked around the mall...literally around the mall on the outside. Everyone was her son or grandson, she had so much love to give. She baked more pies in one holiday season than I did my entire life. She gave me my first bottle of orange nail polish and would always offer to put a cup of coffee on, not matter what time of day it was. She made the BEST homemade vanilla ice cream. She taught me how to open child proof locks. She could rock a Christmas turtle neck for every holiday of the year as long as she matched it with a different necklace. She was the one person who could convince us to run around the house 100 times before getting dessert...yes it was that good. More than anything in the world...she loved her husband, my grandpa, Billy. She loved him more than life itself and I cant help but to think there was a reason she took her last steps today. Love you Gramma...rest in peace.
