Sheikh Ramy Najmeddine - The Orphan Appeal. Help Syakh Ramy to save the orphange. ustadh/5-247-2-m2-help-uk-charity-on-board-with-orphan-appeal.aspx Biography Sheikh Ramy bin Farouk Najmeddine, was born in Melbourne, Australia and from his early teenage years he had the love of knowledge, and a love for those who possessed the knowledge of the religion. He enjoyed attending classes from international scholars visiting Australia from around the world during the holy month of Ramadan each year. Feeling the need to be in the presence and fellowship of respected trustworthy scholars in our time; he left for Yemen in 2006 to further his studies in Islamic sciences. He studied under Habib Salem bin Abdullah bin Umar al-Shatiri at the al-Rubaat institute in Tarim; while also attending classes at the prestigious Dar al-Mustafa with the renowned Habib Umar bin Salem bin Hafidh and other local and international scholars from Sudan, Syria and Egypt who were teaching at Dar al-Mustafa. He then moved to Syria and attended public classes for international students with the respected Shaykh Mohammad al-Ya’qoubi in the infamous masjid Muhyi-uddin Ibn Arabi in Damascus, studying portions of Imam Al-Qushayri’s book; al-Risala Al-Qushayriya. Syria like Yemen is blessed in having an abundance of scholars; so daily evening lessons with local scholars at various masjids was frequented by many international students from all over the world. He had the privilege of attending classes with Shaykh Mufti Mohamed Akhtar Rida Khan al-Qadiri al-Azhari, Shaykh Mohamed Ilyas al-Ataar al-Qadiri al-Ridwiy, Shaykh Mohammed Abdul Hakeem Sharaf Al-Qadiri, who were scholars from India and the Pakistani sub-continent in Syria at the time. He travels extensively through South East Asia, with regular visits to Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, in the cause of Islam and da’wah. His activities overseas include meeting his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters in their homes, giving talks and appearing at madrasa’s, orphanages, masjid gatherings, and visiting various local scholars, Imams, teachers in the area.
