Sherif, I certainly do not want to jump the gun to rain praises - TopicsExpress

Sherif, I certainly do not want to jump the gun to rain praises on you only for promises made in your communication below. Your commitment written as a challenge to Mr. Toun for a national debate must be commanded with caution. Though, they are mere promises at present, I want to hold you to your written words and look forward to see its fruition. Quite honestly, the fruition I hoped for which, I give you two thumps up for this effort is to seek dialogue while holding on to our individual principle or believe systems, but this must be done with a high level of civility, honesty and love of Country. As you eloquently described it, we all must disagree to agree, agree to disagree, clash if possible, openly express our frustration ,irritation, holding loyalty to our individual political entity and views, bearing in mind that we are all connected by a common denominator, Liberia. That said, if we all ascribed to the understanding and principle that the interest, growth and development of this Nation, endowed with God-given natural resources is the main reason for our national debate; I would suggest that we all do away with negativism and all forms of profanities and indecencies to focus on our collective common denominator, Liberia. Over-all, Im optimistic that at the end of the day, truths will trumps over deceptions, lies and those I referenced as crooks, opportunists, political hyenas and common criminals with no fiduciary interest in our Nation, other than lining their pockets and aiding abetting foreigners to loot our Nation with impunity. While, I do not in any shape or form down-play the importance of human atrocities committed by those enjoying the spoils of our society today, I m off the opinion that, economic crimes been committed against our Nation, people and future generations must claimed our immediate attention for collective action. Unfortunately, the mindset by some Liberians that I have a family member putting food on our family table and therefore, I cannot openly or remotely challenge this current Governments inability to administer the affairs of this Nation with fairness is flaw and must be erased to forge forward. We must commit ourselves to patriotic endeavors to help our Nation and people to rise again. Let me even go further to openly state that our focus should never be about which ethnic group is more Liberian than others. I seek to collaborate with patriotic Liberians regardless of his/her political, religious, ethnicity or other affiliations. In this regard, I openly and patriotically accept your challenge and would like to be included in your planned debate on national issues impacting our Nation and people.
