Sherry baby, waiting for treats with the Imps. Youve seen the two videos, and Ive been cute with my narratives. Right now Im going to get real. Good news, Sherry is heartworm negative! Not so good news, unfortunately, and news that wont come as any shock or surprise to many of you, though still heart wrenching nonetheless, is that this dog is not much more than fur, flesh, bones and is covered head to foot with scabs and wounds from dog bites. As mentioned, I massage my dogs which is how I know. It pains my heart deeply every time I touch her, and then I begin to feel angry at a world where people will just... One of the pads on her right hind foot is just raw and red, and causes her to keep that leg up as she walks. Her leg is also swollen from the number of bite woulds. Both of her ears are crusted with scabs to the point that I have to be very gentle when rubbing her neck and head. She has what appears to be an abscess developing on her neck from bites. Ive had a relationship with Medallion Animal Clinic for going on (OMG) 27 years now, so I hope you dont mind, at my expense, that Ive scheduled an appointment for her to be looked at. This also gives me the opportunity to get some medicated creams to properly treat her wounds, and pain relievers so she can be more comfortable. I cannot stress this enough, we have to work together and be creative to find solutions to this unnecessary abuse of animals, and humans alike! Thank you.
