Shingles - Today we spent the morning at the doctors and then Onto the drug store and tomorrow will be more of the same. My sweetie has shingles and its not pretty. The rash covers the right side of his face all the way to the back of his head. Its swollen and very painful. Antibiotics and pain meds. Tomorrow the eye doctor will examine his eye to determine if shingles is in the eye. Please pray for a speedy recovery. Trip to beach has been cancelled. Need my sweetie to get better. If you are over 50 get the shingles vaccination, dont wait. Shingles is bad, bad, bad.
