Shinhwa Got Gold on Runningman September 03, 2013 10:00 am Rina / Contributor An epic battle between Runningman members and Shinhwa, minus Kim Dongwan, happened on the latest episode of Runningman which was aired on September 1st, 2013. This episode was a continuation of the previous week episode where Shinhwa acted as pirates and took all the gold coins from the Runningman members. However, the coins were cursed and changed into trash. In this episode, both teams had to fight against each other to get the clue to break the curse. The winning team of each game got a clear clue while the losing team got an ambiguous one. An intense yet hilarious fight under the scorching summer sun could be seen throughout the episode. Shinhwa members, winning all 3 games and getting all the clues, had proven what the meaning of 15 years of friendship is. They showed great cooperation, collaboration and support to one another. At the beginning of the final round, where they had to rip one another’s name tags, the Runningman members got the upper hand as they were already experienced in it. They successfully ripped Andy’s, Hyesung’s (Hyesung lost the fight with Jihyo and she ripped his name tag ^^), and Minwoo’s, leaving only Junjin and Eric on the game. However, a great team work between both of them made Eric successfully finish the mission and lift the curse from the gold coins. Runningman members could only admit defeat. This is the only episode in Runningman history where the members lost all the games to the guests. The show was closed with Shinhwa winning a chest full of pure gold coins. Long live, Pirates of the 서 해 안!!
