Shinjuku Ekimae students had a speech contest at the end of the semester. They spent a lot of time preparing and practicing for this contest and they made great speech. Of course every one was great but we had to give them ranks since this is a Speech Contest. The award for excellence was given to UNSALAN-san (First class). He spoke in very clear voice and looked at spectators. The title was My life in Japan. He started from the beginner class and his Japanese improved a lot in this 3 month. The highest award was given to SUPRIYA-san (Forth class). She was able to speak without reading at her notes. The title was Basil. She used specific example to explain how Indian people use basil for cook and medicine for Indian people and how it works. Those who had to leave ARC Academy to go back to their country promised to come back here. Please keep studying Japanese and we look forward to hearing form you sometime near future. For those who are going to study at ARC Academy from this July, we are very much looking forward to seeing you soon! 新宿駅前校の学生は修了式にスピーチコンテストを行いました。 この日のためにたくさん準備と練習をしてきたのでみなさんのスピーチはとても良くできていました。 みなさん素晴らしかったのですが、コンテストなので順位をつけなければいけません。 優秀賞は前をみてしっかり話していた1組のアサランさんでした。題材は「日本の生活」でした。 入門レベルから始めたアサランさんですが、この3か月でとてもうまくなりました。 最優秀賞は4組のスプリアさんでした。 スプリアさんはみんなの前で殆ど原稿を見ずに話していました。 題材は「バジル」。インドにおけるバジルの大切さを具体的な例を出しながら、解りやすくスピーチすることができました。 今期で帰らなければならない人も、またアークアカデミーで勉強したいと言ってくれました。 国に帰っても日本語の勉強を頑張って続けてくださいね！ 来学期に会える人たち、楽しみに待っています。
