Shit. I did what I promise Ill never do. I brought work home with me. Although my cross town commute is usually enough to unwind me, after a particularly sucky day at work the miles werent enough. I yelled. I screamed. I acted like an arse as we attempted to navigate traffic to go to a Mommy/Kid Friday night dinner. I had to pull over on a side street and step out of the vehicle to regain my composure. As we arrived at home the sea of sad faces ate at my soul. What a jerk I was. Thats when I decided although it would mean tightening the purse strings a tad next week, I would order a special meal with each of their favorites. I sat each of them down, apologized for my actions and hugged them.....For a bit longer than usual. Its Friday and Ill be damned if this weekend starts off poorly. Tucking away guilt now and ready to chow down on pizza from my hometowns most expensive....but oh so delicious....pizza joint. Oh, and have the bestest company a gal could ask for.
