A village at the end of a forest decides to conduct a sacrifice. At full moon the villagers summon the priest to conduct the rituals, but a tiger comes and eats him up. There was consternation but the tiger ate the priest again. There was a crisis as this happened once more. The villagers held a meeting. The village idiot came up with a suggestion, why not make the tiger eating the priest part of the ritual. Our politicians have done the same. They have made the suffering of man-made floods an everyday ritual in India today as much as aerial surveys which consumes disasters from a distance.
