Should Christians Read Horoscopes or Consult Astrologists and Spirit Mediums? By brother dino Today God has commanded me to tell you something I know you do not want to hear and yet already know is true to the very core of your soul and spirit! And He is going to shake things up in His church by the power of His Holy Spirit and pull down some long-held strongholds that have been keeping His people held captive in bondage by the lies of the enemy! O’ Hallelu-YAH! Thank You for deliverance Lord and setting the captives free! Abba (Father) convict Your children of their sin and rebellion against You, done in ignorance openly on their fb pages, now by The Truth of Your Word! Reveal to them that they are grieving Your Holy Spirit! Show them that the devil has deceived them into dragging Your Son Y’Shua’s (Jesus’) name thru the muck and mire of the world, as they mix the dung (profane things) of this world with that which is Holy (set apart for God’s purpose), by boldly claiming to the world they are Christian’s, while at the same time holding onto an opposing belief in Astrology and Horoscopes as well as Luck and Charms and even a fascination with paranormal (demonic) activity, the dead and spirits of divination under the guise of prophecy. Lord empower me to speak the truth in love, to save the lost and edify the saved! DO NOT BE DECEIVED BELOVED, ASTROLOGY AND HOROSCOPES ARE AN ABOMINATION BEFORE GOD! The Full Counsel of God reveals everything we need to know about stars and everything else we will ever need as well. And beginning at the very beginning, we learn in Genesis 1:14-19 that God created the stars and gave them special purposes as we will learn. Next, in Psalms 8:3 and 19:1 David declares the heavens are God’s “handiwork” and in Psalm 147:4 that God has numbered them all and calls each by name! The overall theme found in scripture is that The Heavens reveal God’s power and majesty. God’s Word declares that stars, along with the sun and moon, were given to us for “signs” and “seasons” (Genesis 1:14) with the intent and meaning of God’s provident care in every detail, even marking time into seasons, days and years. God also used the stars as a sign to Abraham to illustrate His promise to give Abraham an innumerable seed (see Genesis 15:5). So, every time Abraham looked up at the night sky, he had a reminder of God’s love and faithfulness to fulfill His promise. A Star marked our Messiah’s arrival after His birth and The Final Judgment that will soon come upon the whole earth, will be accompanied by astronomical events relating to the stars in heaven as well (see Isaiah 13:9-10; Joel 3:15; Matthew 26:29 and Revelation). Next, in The Books of Job 9:9; 26:13; 38:31-32; and Amos 5:8 we learn that God arranged the stars into recognizable groups that we call constellations. God’s Word mentions three of these: Orion, the Bear (Ursa Major), and “The Crooked Serpent” (most likely Draco). The same passages also reference the star group Pleiades (the Seven Stars). So, we learn that God is the One Who “fastens the bands” of these constellations; He is the One who brings them forth, “each in its season.” Finally in Job 38:32, God also points to the “Mazzaroth,” (Hebrew – Mazzarah) usually translated “constellations.” And this is thought by many to be a reference to the 36 associated constellations that make up what later became known as the twelve signs of the zodiac. The constellations have been tracked and studied by cultures around the world for millennia. The Ancient Egyptians and Greeks knew of the zodiac and used it to measure the beginning of spring centuries before Christ and travelers have navigated by the stars since ancient times as well. I caution that although a lot has been written recently on the meaning of the zodiacal constellations, including theories that they comprise an ancient display of God’s redemptive plan (i.e. the constellation Leo can be seen as a celestial depiction of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah from Revelation 5:5, and Virgo could be a reminder of the virgin who bore Christ), God’s Word does not indicate any “hidden meaning” for these or other constellations anywhere and any discussion attempting to give hidden meaning to them is pure unsupported conjecture. Astrology on the other hand is the “private interpretation” of an assumed mystical influence that the stars and planets exert on our daily lives, future and destiny and this is a doctrine of demons and an abomination before God, Who is sovereign over all His creation. The simple proof is found in Daniel 1:20 when The Royal Astrologers of the Babylonian Court were put to shame by God’s young prophet Daniel and were powerless to interpret The King’s dream in Daniel 2:27. And furthermore, God declares thru His prophet Isaiah that astrologers will be among those who will be burned as stubble in God’s judgment (see Isaiah 47:13-14). Astrology as a form of divination is expressly forbidden in Scripture (see Deuteronomy 18:10-14). Astrology gives the devil access to speak his lies over your life and direct your life; keeping you in bondage to what “your sign” says about you instead of what God says about you. God forbade the children of Israel to worship or serve the “host of heaven” (see Deuteronomy 4:19), because believing that the stars and planets have power over our lives is a form of pagan idolatry. Several times in their history, however, Israel fell into that very sin (see 2 Kings 17:16). Their worship of the stars brought God’s swift judgment each time and it brings swift judgment in the life of Believers today as well. The Apostle Paul revealed that we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms (principalities), against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the [lower] heavenlies. (see Ephesians 6:12) We must understand that there are three Heavens detailed in God’s Word. The First Heaven is the atmosphere around earth and is overlapped by a Supernatural Realm where Holy Angels and Demons (fallen angels and spirits of the nephilim aka a race of Giants that were created when Angels mated with Human Women shortly after Adam and Eve were cast out of The Garden of Eden) appear and have power (aka in Occult as Lower Astral Planes). The devil has set powerful demons in The First Heaven that overlaps The Earth over Nations, States or Providences and Cities in order to possess The Unsaved and oppress The Saved in order to control their thoughts, words and deeds and this is witchcraft and bondage to the devil. The Second Heaven is the cosmos of space and is overlapped by a Supernatural Realm where Holy Angels and Demons (fallen angels and spirits of the nephilim aka a race of Giants that were created when Angels mated with Human Women shortly after Adam and Eve were cast out of The Garden of Eden) appear and have power (aka in Occult as Upper Astral Planes). The devil has set powerful demons in The Second Heaven that overlaps The Cosmos in order to influence the thoughts, words and deeds of The Unsaved and Saved who buy into the lie of Astrology and consult Astrologers and read Horoscopes and this is witchcraft and bondage to the devil and this is how Astrology truly works. The Third Heaven is located outside of The Creation in Eternity, where God’s Heavenly Tabernacle and Throne exist surrounded by The Four Living Creatures, The Twenty-Four Elders, The Heavenly Host of Holy Angels and all The Saints (past, present and future), who are already seated with Him in The Heavenly Realms in Christ Jesus. GOD IS SERRIOUS ABOUT THIS, BECAUSE YOU’RE CONSULTING A BUNCH OF WITCHES ABOUT GOOD DAYS AND BAD DAYS, LUCKY NUMBERS AND IMPORTANT DECISIONS ETC. INSTEAD OF STUDYING, BELEIVING AND APPLYING… THE HOLY LIVING WORD OF GOD AND BEING LED BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT! Beloved the stars should awaken a childlike wonder at God’s awesome power and majesty (for the heavens declare His glory), not be used as a weapon of the devil to control your ever step. Always remember that God is sovereign and in control and His will, will be done on earth as it is in heaven and in your life as He predestined before the foundation of the world (not the imagined power of stars and planets or anything else for that matter)! As it is written: The lot is cast into the lap, but the decision is wholly of the Lord [even the events that seem accidental are really ordered by Him]. (Proverbs 16:33 AMP) 29For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. (Romans 8:29 AMP) SO DO NOT BE DECEIVED! When we know The Full Counsel of God, we achieve proper understanding and balance. And concerning stars it is clear that we are to use them to keep track of time and locate place as well as remind us of God’s faithful, covenant-keeping nature and be used as a sign to herald and mark our Lord’s imminent return. And as we gaze into the starry heavens of a moonless night or look in wonder at the images from space telescopes, we are to acknowledge and praise El Elyon (God Most High) The Creator of the heavens and the earth for His power and His glory. In closing Beloved always remember to be thankful and grateful that our wisdom comes from God alone, not the stars (see James 1:5) and that The Word of God is our guide through life, not a Horoscope (see Psalm 119:105)! Now proclaim aloud… This captive has been delivered and set free from the bondage of Astrology and Horoscopes, Lucky Charms and Unclean Spirits of Divination and now freely receives all of The Precious Promises of God and become all that God created me to be instead! Now quickly go get rid of everything that pertains to astrology and horoscopes as well as charms and potions and fortunes and lucky numbers and anything of the occult… AND STOP MIXING THE PROFANE WITH THAT WHICH IS HOLY IN Y’SHUA’S NAME! Beloved if you are not in formal discipleship being washed by the water of The Word and transformed by the renewing of your mind, learning to obey all that He commanded and equipped for the work of the ministry… then I urge you to contact me now and begin discipleship today!
