Should we fight against crony capitalism or concede to it? Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas and Assemblyman Don Wagner are supporting the crony capitalism candidate for Anaheim Mayor, Lucille Kring. Assemblyman Donald P. Wagner (Irvine) who describes himself as a conservative politician yet supports candidate Kring even after she voted to give a $158 million tax break to a local hotelier friend. Here is what conservative writer, Jon Fleischman from BREITBART CALIFORNIA said about the $158 million hotel giveaway. Tax policy should be set broadly, not specifically. When you start to provide tax breaks down to the individual “deal” — then you foster crony capitalism. Where people engage in politics for profit. Moreover, when Mrs. Kring was invited by a political community gathering to explain her reversal on campaign promises, she could not articulate a reasonable response that would maintain any integrity.
