Shout out to authors, especially Ohio authors! 2015 Writers at the Crossroads Who: Cambridge Writers Where: Guernsey County Crossroads Branch Library, 63500 Byesville Road, Cambridge, Ohio 43725, 740 432-7536 When: Saturday March 21, 2015, 11am – 1pm What we seek to do: raise money through donations and raffle ticket sales and or collect regular size Legos for the Guernsey County District Library’s Children’s Programs. 100% of all monies collected go to the Children’s Programs. How we go about doing this: members of Cambridge Writers and any volunteer authors read up to five minutes worth of their own work to the audience. We do this roughly for an hour then we have the Munch & Mingle. This is where the audience can Mingle with the authors, ask questions, buy authors books PLUS we serve free pizza, coffee and bottled water. What we offer to the authors participating: Free table space to sell books (space is limited please reserve early) Free publicity leading up to the event through newspaper, radio, T.V., internet, and FaceBook What we ask in return of each author; donate at least one book for the raffle basket.
