Shri Ram College of Commerce is organizing Shri Ram Economics Summit on the 28th and 29th of January 2015. SRES15 has three competitive events for undergraduate and postgraduate students as mentioned below: 1. The Shri Ram Research Paper Presentation- With resounding success from last year, we have come back this year with Paper Presentation Competition at SRES, an extremely prestigious event that attracts the finest minds from across the country to showcase their research on any topic related to the field of economics. There will be two rounds of competitive assessment of the research papers in this event. In the preliminary round, the teams will be required to submit an abstract on any research topic. The shortlisted entries will qualify for the finals and shall present their paper to an esteemed panel of judges. Econovergence Econvergence at SRES 2015, provides an excellent opportunity for participants to act as state representatives and Institutional investors and test their analysing, convincing and investing abilities. While the state representatives will compete to attract investors, describing the potentials and lucrative investment opportunities in their states; Investors will have to evaluate these alternative options and choose the best ones within their budget constraint to maximize their returns. The event will culminate with the best state representative, who achieves the maximum state objectives efficiently, and the best investor, who earns maximum returns with minimum risk, adjudged as the winners- honing the skills and enhancing the knowledge of participants as well as the audience in the process. The Charlatans Chutzpah Shri Ram Economic Summit 2015 is proud to present you a rare opportunity to test your creativity, eccentricity and audacity, all bound together by the love of economics, in The Charlatans Chutzpah. To the rest of the world, you are an Economist, but you know you really are a Charlatan in the end. Throughout the event, you are hired by various high profile clients, and in those contexts you have to come up with your very own economic theory, only rule being that it has to be fake - entirely a work of fiction.
