Side 2 of Ritual, track 2 is the finest JA song of all time and is another tribute, this time to Perrys late mother who committed suicide when he was only 4. What I love is both songs are loving celebrations, of lives and loves. That lyric She was an artist just as you were and I introduced you to her. She would take me out on Sundays. Wed go laughing through the garbage. She repaired things like a doctor on the kitchen chairs we sat on. She was an artist just as you were, unhappy just as you were.
