Sign the petition to tell the Channing House and the Insitute of Latin American Studies that Alvaro Uribe is not welcome in the UK. Alvaro Uribe left the country with 12% more poverty, thousands of political prisoners, thousands of innocent people killed by the military to add up the numbers of dead guerrilla fighters, the worst country to organise in the workplace and the erosion of fundamental human rights such as freedom of the press and freedom of assembly. He still receives awards left, right and centre and he was also chosen to work in the international commision at the UN investigating the Freedom Flotilla debacle in Gaza and he is a Zionist.
