Significant cold fronts on the way next week for all of Texas. A front Saturday will blast through the state with gusty winds and cooler weather, but the stronger fronts are expected Monday through Thursday with a series of cold blasts from the arctic. The fronts are partially caused by former Super Typhoon Nuri which displaced a ridge of high pressure over the Pacific. Next weeks frontal systems will likely be the coldest air we have seen since last spring and winter. More at Dr Doppler
