Simple and easy saviyaan/ vermicelli reciepe! The traditional way to get creamy milk is to reduce it which tastes great. The shortcut is to use tinned evaporated milk! Ingredients: Vermicelli (2cm bunch for a small family of 4) Milk 1.5 mug Evaporated milk 1/2 mug Sugar (according to taste ) Cardamom seeds (from 5 pods) Nuts of choice 1 cup Water Butter or ghee 3 tbs Fry the vermicelli Add water once its golden brown Add the sugar Add the evaporated milk Add the regular milk Bring to a boil Add the nuts Tips: Remember vermicelli expands after soaking in the water and milk so be sensible about how much you use. Adding hot milk expedites cooking time. Add the nuts beforehand in the boiling milk if you prefer . Serve hot or cold!
