Simple words can have such powerful meanings. 1. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. Enemies hate because, thats all they know growing up. Love them anyways. If they too can learn to love, theres no need for enemies. Show them love, eventually, they too learn to love. They were not born hating. Babies are innocent until shown otherwise. 2. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How do you define beauty? Am I ugly because Im fat or skinny? Am I ugly because Im not beautiful in your eyes? Beauty is inside your heart. No one is born ugly. 3. We are on borrowed time. Even the most powerful, the rich, most influential people all die. No amount of money or fame will not save you. But in spirit, we live on. 4. Honour thy father and mother. They are the ones who brought you into this world. They teach us right from wrong, but they too have showed us the bad side, they are human too after all, but never late to say Im sorry, please forgive me for I have done wrong. Nobody is perfect. 5. Love yourself before you love others. When we do wrong, we regret and say sorry, but mean what you say, dont just say it. Do you know who hated me the most? You just might be wrong who hated me the most. Me, myself and I. I hated me the most, do you know why? Couldve, shouldve, wouldve. Three most powerful little simple words. I shouldve done more to save my grandfather Noah Nasook. I couldve went hunting with my brother Peter Kadlutsiak, maybe, just maybe I couldve saved him, or maybe I shouldve died with him. I wouldve had done everything in my power to save everyone in my family who passed away tragically. It was there time and I cant do anything to turn back time. For that, I was my worst enemy, hated myself for all of eternity. In time, I learned to cope, but I will never bring them back. My brother Mike Kadlutsiak was my best friend when no one was there for me. My mom Damaris Kadlutsiak was more my number one Buddy. I could tell her anything, good or bad, joke around with her, cry with her, laugh with her. She could never ever judge me. When Im wrong, she would simply tell me she loves me, dont judge myself too harshly. Growing up, I never had a father, he used to abuse, drink, .... But, he too have apologized, ask for forgiveness and he has changed. My grandfather Noah Nasook wad always my father figure, I even thought one time, he was my father, but Asenath Nasook was the one who adopted me, cared for me, loved me, raised me. My brothers and sisters have all helped me to be the person you see me today. Jeannie Kuluk Angilirq and myself, we have a son, whom we love with all our heart. Piita Qupanuaq Angilirq. We had a roller coaster of a ride. Ups and downs along the way. We had many many obstacles and hurdles, just like you. I love each and everyone of you. Jeannie, I love you and our son very much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for staying with me even though I have done so wrong. We learn from our mistakes. Every single person had done wrong and every single person has done right. This is my legacy to you all. Money and fame is good to have, but all the money in the world will not save us. One more I forgot. 6. The person who had the least, have so much to give. And it is not money. Biggest thing in the world you can possibly give is your heart. Remember these simple little things in life, you have everything you need. Forgive and love yourself in order to love others. I have forgiven myself for losing my loved ones. It was their time and I can not do anything to bring them back.
